Why is this case so cheap??

As we would be making over £100 loss on each of the cases and if we offer something to one customer we have to offer it to all I am looking at what other alternatives I can do as a good will gesture.

1) I will happily sell one of these cases at our cost price + VAT to Oc3D forum members.

2) I am working on a pair of goodie bags to send out to Jujumonkey and noobieocer as way of apology.

Would just like to apologise for the mix up on this one, we do try but as Tom knows our current website can cause the odd headache.

I will be dropping a couple of PMs either later today or tomorrow so keep an eye out Jujumonkey and noobieocer.
 
Ive passed on the forum emails for both the guys in the thread who say they have bought one, will have to see what happens.

i dont want to cause any trouble for anyone or get anyone the sack. and i dont want to be a pain in the neck for tom cos he's a good guy. i really like the storm sniper anyway so i'll just get myself that one

no need to apologise at all. i was totally ok with it. the goody bag is a really nice surprise, thankyou very much. and please pass on my thanks to everyone involved

However it really is no trouble to sort out a discount on the order and will show as a sale for one of our Sales team (has to be a phone order) so it really is no trouble.

Offer is there if you want to grab a case, let me know if you find one cheaper elsewhere or that is a couple of quid outside your budget and I will be happy to see what I can do on the price for you.

Wow, it's pretty amazing the quality of CCL's service, no hardware store that operates in the Netherlands even gets close. If only CCL operated here =/

It was our error at the start for the mis-price, these things do happen.

I can't really imagine why a company would not just hold its hands up and say sorry and try not to lose good customers / potential new customers over simple mistakes.

The goodie bags probably sound better in principle than practice, they are just a collection of free bits that we get given from various companies such as T-shirts, pens, promotion USB pen drives and other random bits. Well worth looking at if only to wonder why people had the stuff made in the first place.
