Where's the best place for case window etching in the states?

I'm interested in sending off my case window to have it etched with a few logo's on it. Namely OC3D & Intel. Anyone in the states had this done? If so where did you have it done, how much did it cost, and was the service rendered good enough to where you would give them repeat business?

I haven't had it done but you could buy something that etches stuff inot metal and do it that way. You could use a tracer to get the shape right.

Didn't you have a mate with a lazer cutter? Did the DFI brackets with it.

Dremel frankly is my favorite way. Lay down some blue painters tape in the pattern, then dremel it all away.

do you know that you can get glass frosting in a can (i dont advise you use it on cakes). you could just make up some stencils in photoshop, cut em out and spray away

Yeah that's a huge factory up in Michigan, and it's a laser cutter, not a laser engraver

And I would want this professionally laser engraved anyhow, I need it to be gradiated and perfect. Dremel is ghettotastic tbh.

laser cutters can have their speed increased and intensity lowered do it does nothing more than take the surface off

Ok, you're a busy man too I'd be prepared to do it for you (labour free) if you send me the dimensions and the required layout. I'm off to the hardware store for some perspex myself this weekend anyway. Once finished I'll send it off. Regardless, it's another option.

Thx for the offer mate, I don't know how economical shipping from AUS to USA would be though, and the chances of it getting damaged on its long journey are pretty good too. I definately appreciated it mate but I just don't think it would work out all too well, I'd hate to have you put in all the work on it and then have it come cracked

I can do laser etching. I will do a piece for you for free, if you refer people to me in the future and you post images of the work done.

I would need a few things from you before I can get started.

1. I need accurate dimensions for the pannel and all the holes that are needed. I need this to do the cad file that will cut the window to size. Also in this drawing could you provide the size and placement of the etchings.

2. I need bitmaps of the logos you want etched. The higher the resolution the better.

I will be on vacation next week 6/25-6/29 so I will not be able to do the work untill I return.
