Where to start?

So my mate has just got his new pc and he wants to watercool it so he asked me for help but unfourtanelty I don't really know much about it either.

So what I am wondering is if someone could be as kind to post a list of the parts you would recommend getting, after that we will use Toms watercooling guide to get it done

What case are you using ? ;]

Cooler master haf 912, although I might try my hand at watercooling my rig in the future so It would be good if there was parts that work with any case

If it's just a 2500k the XSPC RX kits would be enough.

Comes with every thing you need except coolant but you might want to get some better fans because the ones that come with the kit aren't that good.

I run this kit with the stock fans on my rig, works well IMO. I would get different tubing tho, as mine is starting to look green in the case when it is off.

All tubing will get stained from the coolant, which is what has probably happened to yours.

The coolant is Distilled water with a biocide and UV dye..didn't know it was UV til after it was in..so its clear lol

Looks like that XSPC stuff is no good then. I use Primochill Proflex LRT myself.
