Went through 3 Asus, all had to be RMAd. CHose an ECS after the ASUS failure and am very happy with it. 80 buck ownage FTW!

Epox :)

My 9nda.. then some other numbers after that, is going well. I like it, nothing flash but it works fine and wasn't too expensive

I voted other for now because the one I'm using now has been going strong since 1998 and it's survived everything I've thrown at it;) Countless hard drives, 3 CPUs, 4 sound cards and half a dozen video cards.

Legend QDI Brilliant1S 440BX Slot 1;)

Still not heard anything about my RMA'd ASUS A8V-Deluxe tho.

I voted Abit.

I've used plenty of Asus, DFi, Gigabyte, Leadtek, MSI, Soltek etc. but for some reason I keep going back to Abits.

shame i cant give minus points for ASUS, this motherboard sucks donkey jibblets

As does my Asus board. I have an A8N5X. It has good overclocking features and all the connectors I need but it has one huge weak point which makes me hate it. This weak point is you cant get an accurate reading of CPU temperatures from anything. Some programs tell me im running at 23* when in bios it says Im running at 38*. It also goes to the other extreme where some programs say Im running at 50 *. Basically, its limiting me overclocking more because I do not know the accurate temperature of my cpu. :banghead:

Ok, I am done with me rant. :p

Wirelessly posted (LG Fusic: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/2.0.4719/1374; en; U; ssr))

i cant remember what my original vote was 4 but epox is still my fave board maker. inexpensive and clock as well or better than the big boys 4 2x the price. layouts could be better but abit has just claimed the worst layout award in my book.

I build as many systems as I can using Foxconn. They are built so solid, I would be surprised if they weren't the most dependable boards on the market. They aren't for extreme enthusiasts, however.

foxconn ftw!

ASUS baaby! Never had a bad one and good manuals compared with MSI or gigabyte

Im never buying another ASUS board again, this is / was the worst motherboard ive ever come across

That's a shame about your ASUS boards - strange too. I know they had some probs initally with the X2 compatiability and you needed to update the bios before installing XP. Oh, well as long as your happy with what you got instead.

I really want to try a DFI though...maybe next build.
