Good choice mate! EPoX boards are easily the best bang for the buck OC boards on the market. Sure there are overall better boards but EPoX's overclock like NUTS and they're cheap.

Used about 200 pcs based around foxconn boards at where I used work (finished my contract, didn't want to renew) - though Abit is king of this house :)

You post would suggest you experienced problems. Did you? I have found Foxconn to be very reliable.

Within the last 6 months or so it seems that Foxconn has been trying to make a slightly larger break in to the market with some better boards than what we are usually used to seeing.

IIRC there was a Foxconn Conroe board at one of the tech shows that looked very promising... Maybe it was for AM2. Hell I can't remember right now, all i remember is that it looked a lot nicer than most previous offerings from Foxconn.

DFI, Abit, ASUS. my friend had a MSI which had a multitude of problems and the only gigabyte i had went mental after about a week probably just a one off

Definitely DFI!!! Though, I'm currently using an eVGA K8-133-NF41-AX nF4 PCI-E SLI mobo...

And I'm pretty sure Leadtek makes the eVGA mobo's for em. Probably not a bad little board.

Not bad at all, it's actually the same identical reference board as the well-known (at least for overclockers) JETWAY 939GT4 mobo...

There are some good reviews about this eVGA mobo over the net, and most of them say you can reach pretty high overclocks with this one, but all I could do, stable, was 240x10=2.4GHz with my X2 3800+, but that's probably because my Chipset is overheating (reaches above 42C) and I don't have the time (nor the will) to invest in replacing it with a decent cooler. I guess my RAM is also limiting me a bit, so I'll have to use a divider.

Anyway, I am more than satisified with my current 240x10 settings...:D

Jetway does. I've had some experience with eVGA's boards, they're great :). OC good, very stable, etc.

And I think Leadtek makes the Jetway boards. If you look at the eVGA boards they say WinFast on them, that's a Leadtek trademark.

You're probably right, though also Foxconn has their mobos called "WinFast", and I know for sure that Leadtek and Foxconn do co-operate and actually act as "sister-companies"...

LOL, where? Never spotted that before and it's been in two cases.

They do ;).

I've owned Epox, MSI, ASUS, Abit motherboards and of those only my Epox ever died. It worked great for two years and then just went nuts. All the others are still going strong.

Had a gigabyte k8NSC-939, cool board, then my old junkie PSU blew it out.

Then I won an ECS-K8MVP (i think thats the moddle) but w/e, its based on the RD480 chipset and has crossfire support, seems pretty good so far, it hit 300HTT without any tweaks with the stock tiny passive northbridge cooler, so i say its decent. 100% stable to

Abit here, can`t give you any specifics why, purely a `feeling` thing. I`ve had the feeling for probably 10 years.

I have an ASUS, and I have bad vibes about it, can`t explain why, seems to work ok tho for now.

Maybe it`s a spiritual thing ?!??!?!!!!
