im looking to get some extension cables and just wonted to know what the difrence was beetwen the two. i need the 8 Pin for the Motherboard and the 8 Pin and 6 Pin for the two GPU's

sorry if this is in the wrong place didnt know where else it would go

ok so, VGA cable first of all is a monitor cable, i.e. link between gpu and monitor, but some people for some reason like to call that the gpu power cables as well, i like to call them PCI-e power cable but whatever

what you need is a 4+4 EPS/ATX power cable female-male for the motherboard

and two /66+2 PCI-E power cables

makes sure that your EPS is 4+4 and not 6+2, same goes with PCI-e it needs to ne 6/6+2 not 4+4, otherwise it will not work and it will also not fit into the slot.
