ok since Im running a 120gb ssd for my games and os I thought about replacing my external hdd with a proper internal hdd I was wondering what format you guys run, I have my external set to fat 32 but Iv notice a few problems mostly .trash file folders that refuses to be deleted or other strange errors.

NTFS is the usual route to take assuming you're using windows.

The mention of .trash files makes me think you're using a mac though, in which case macs have their own format which you should use.

nope not being used on a mac always plugged upto to a windows 7 pc....but cheers for the info mate

FAT32 while being more compatible with different devices, has issues with larger files.

For a drive that's going into your computer you want NTFS for sure.
