I remember when I first started getting into PC's big time as in building them my self. The Lan party boared was like the King of kings. Brightly coloured everything was way over the top. and the whole boared glowed under uv light.
I know it would be considered tacky in todays market. But I would love to get my hands on one. And frame it on the wall. to remined me of great times.
A lan Partyboard and a AMD CPU. (i think it was Socket A or something then) You couldnt beat it lol.
I have seen some rumors on the net of Lan partys still available. Not sure if they are any good nowdays. I just loved the fact it came with a carry strap for your PC case. and one of the main features of the board was YOU CAN USE IT....................WITH OUT A CASE wow lol.
Scarey thing is now. At the time it looked so complex and awsome. But looking at it now and looking to my right to see my Maximus IV extream. it seams so dull and plain lol.
And thets not forget its awsome Drive bay plate.
