I have a intel i5 2500k which i game on and when I get a air cooler (using stock atm) I will overclock the hell outa it.

I need a good cooler which will be able to work with high 2500k overclocks.

I dont have any RAM clearence issues and my case is plenty-big.

What do you guys think Noctua, Nzxt, or one of the be quiets maybe????

CHEERS!!

Noctua NH-D14 unless you're going for a particular theme, such as black and [insert colour here], in which case the Be Quiet! ones are a bit sexier.

NZXT all the way, i had a Noctua but think the NZXT is far more visually pleasing. I strongly reccommend it, am using one right now.

The Noctua DH-14 is the best cooler for that chip by a long way.

Cheak out this reveiw, by our leader.

I don't think he will be able to fit all three one one cpu.

That's why they call it a tower cooler. Sorry, horrible attempt for a joke.

Yup, I'd definitely suggest the NH-D14. It's one of the best coolers out there.

Usually I would have said the D14 but now I am on the fence with the Havik. The D14 is technically "the" best cooler, but, the Havik is only a few c* off the D14 and as shown in TTL's review with a higher OC it's actually only .4 of degree off and that was with 1366, 1155 doesn't get anywhere near as hot. Plus the Havik looks better, is smaller and cheaper. If you want the best of the best go with the D14, if you can live with less than a degrees difference i'd go with the Havik, you could also go with the Phantechs though.

I completely agree. Too be honest i think the d14 is very ugly.

There are always other coolers to choose from. The newest addition, being the NZXT Havik is a brilliant cooler for its size and price. The be quiet! Dark Rock Pro/Advance coolers are also a good combo with the 2500K. Can't forget about the Phanteks either; those are as great to look at as they are in their performance.

I say go for the Phanteks PH-TC14PE 140mm UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) CPU Cooler.

It's still fairly new but I have seen reviews that put it at 2 to 5 degrees Celsius cooler than the Noctua D14 @ overclocked load.

not much difference but cooler is always better right?

plus comes in four color choices so it will fit your case theme and not look God awful.

I think that you should go for Havik. Its smaller than d14, looks better and still have pretty much the same temp. So you cant go wrong with Havik. Also you have no memory issue with havik. With d14 you have to consider what ram are you using. I,ve been using d14 for over 6months and so far I can say that its great cooler, the only thing what was pissing me off was fans color.
