Video card

My mobo

I am going to put a 3400+ Mobile Cpu in here and oc the crap outta it.

I will be looking for another pair of good ocing DDR cuz all I have atm is pc 3200. But first I will be putting in a twin for the video card for sli.

The reason i did this was because I really couldnt do a proper upgrade atm with limited funds. SO I figured get at least one of the expensive parts done which is the video card. Also Conroe is coming soon also so i can get say another PSU that doesnt shut off when i turn on my UV lights,

So i will be going intel still yes but I am going to get the new 65 nm Cellies that are coming out this month ( 356 ). They oc like mad on stock and are way cheap. so? why not go celly with the 512 mb L2 now

IMO you should of gotten this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150140

or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814122245

The motherboard link is the same as the gpu ;)

What ram are you looking for? Which DDR?

anything really that can be oced with minimal divider. I have no clue how high i can get the 3400+ mobile ( maybe 2.7 or 2.8 ? ) The issue is price really but something that can give me a bit of head room

EDIT: heres the link to the Mobo sorry:

Good choice on the mobo mate! If/when I ever decide to build another comp it will have EPoX inside once againd :D

That card doesn't look to bad either, your rig should really start screamin' with those babies in it :)

Leadtek's tech support isn't exactly the best from what I've heard.

have had several contacts with leadtek support and the longest time they took to answer was 1-2 workdays and thats very good.

Maybe it's limited to their USA support only, then.

eh Well the 3400+ mobile is the next best cpu I have now that i sold off the 3700+... pretty much the same speeds with the 1 mb L2, where the mobile is way cooler.

If this brand card treats me right, I will get a second one. The 2 are suposed to be here on thursday morning :) so this weekend i get to oc more once again

Update: With the hardware going to be here in less than a day from now, I am now getting worried after reading some more on the mobo. Its seems that the chipset does not support mobile CPU's? This has me worriedCuz the plan was to put in the 3400+ mobile Any one have any other info otherwise on this?

Never heard of a typo?
ROFLMAO...very picky Eguy, surely you could have had a wild stab in the dark as to what he meant.

According to the user review at the bottom, the 3400+ DTR chip works with this mobo. here

Just use the 11/2005 BIOS :)

CPU compatibility chart here

Best of luck mate, it should be a punchy little unit for sure.
