Girlfriend says she needs time by herself to think. Leaves happy and loved up, kisses and hugs and all that jazz. Instantly cold from the next day. The next few days she lies continuously about her whereabouts and today she tried to trick me into meeting her tomorrow so she can end it. She used the false promise of wanting me to come to the docs with her to get a complication of the abortion sorted.

I asked if this was a bad meeting (already suspecting her motives), a "we're breaking up" kind of meeting, and she ignored me for two hours and turned her phone off. Not happy with this lack of respect I walked to hers only to find that at past 1am in the morning, after saying she was at home (and with work at 7am), she is not. No car, no girlfriend.

I have suspected that this was nearing and I'm very much of the opinion that there is another fella involved. Now do I meet her anyway and just take the break up or do I not let her treat me with such disrespect (the trying to trick me about meeting at the docs) and let her come to me to do the break up?

If you know 100% that's what she plans to, I know I sure as hell wouldn't go. Then again, it's better than breaking it off over the phone or facebook or something. I'm surprised she wouldn't just do that if she were going to do the breakup.

Damn dude, really just go meet her. Either way you're breaking up I guess. Might as well make her be the bad guy instead of yourself. At least you can hold your head high and she comes out looking like a mess. If there really is another fella in the mix, he needs to wake up and deserves a good ass kicking.

Oh don't worry about that, I'll find out who it is and I'll stomp his face into the curb.

no i dont think he needs a kick in the ass he might not know, i was like that with my lass!

i say like i did on msn beat the unnecessary language removed to it, then personally cause i can be a vindictive and impulsive mofo hump her friends/family

unnecessary mate really??

IMO be the man and u break it off,and say look you are insane and i dont want to be withsome one who treats me like this.

If people don't appreciate/value you being in their lives anymore then simply leave it at that. As ALX said "snakes with tits" and once a woman has changed her mind about you, there's no turning back i'm afraid, it's like an on off switch in their heads.

You're just going to have to work through the feelings of reject etc like we all have at some point, it will be rough as it sounds like your feelings for her hadn't changed.

all the best

Man, I feel for you. I have gone through a similar experience and it just makes you feel like a piece of **** on someones shoe. Horrible feeling.

I am currently in a relationship at the moment, and it's going okay, but I keep saying the wrong things at the wrong times.

She can joke around with me and I don't take offence, I find it funny.. we have a giggle.. but when I try to joke with her.. BANG, that hurt my feelings, goes of MSN, doesn't say bye etc etc. Proper head doer. Nothing compared to your situation at the moment, it's good to vent stuff out,

Guys Language please!

Dont have me trawling these flaming forums looking for language that really isn't necessary please.

Went for a nice meal, had a nice night.

Got home, she txt me, ending it.

I hope this isn't out of place as I don't know you but by doing it by text she shows she was in a rush to end it and couldn't be bothered with the doctor thing or any other rouse. The rush may be another guy, it equally may be that she feels she needs to get herself in order and purge the "bad things" as can be described on many TV shows and magazines, where they ignore the short sightedness of the decisions and the long term repercussions of said decisions.

Whatever her reason, after the lack of respect shown to you and her behaviour she's clearly not someone you'd want for the long haul. It wont feel good for a while but so is life, you'll move on and realise how lucky you are to be without her whatever the future may hold. So if it's another man so be it, his problem now and as was said he may have had no idea about you. Any which way be the better person ignore it and do something you've wanted to but haven't like a project or a trip if you can, hang with friends more etc all that good stuff. If she comes back to you wanting you etc just dash it and say no, she's shown her colours and you know what she's like, and you can just get on with your life and better things. Good luck

She used to be so nice (genuinely) but she suddenly started taking on the qualities of her darling mother. The mother that bullied her for over a year.

She moved out of her mothers and in with her father when I said put up or shut up (I used to spend so so so so long comforting her because of her mother). But when her mother got her a trainee surveyor job (with no qualifications at all, she'd failed college 3 times!!!) she moved back in with her and continued on her path to being a bitch.

Away from her mother she was a real sweetheart, a genuinely nice girl, back in her mum's clutches she turned into a real bitch.

I went mental last night. It was amazing how fast she switched back to being polite when I snapped.

O so (ones again sounds very familiar in my ears

I hope you can still enjoy your weekend buddy

Last but NOT least ,

I have no regrets in my life. I think that everything happens to you for a reason. The hard times that you go through build character, making you a much stronger person.

I don't know you but I feel for you mate. I've had bad relationships like the rest of you (caught my gf of 3 years cheating on me) untill i found my current gf/fiancee (couldn't be happier XD).

You'll feel better in the long run for being the better person.

...plus think of the money you will save this christmas XD

That's the spirit !

As for your girlfriend? you can't change what's inside.

My ex wife had passive aggressive disorder. In other words she was a nasty cow. I still have scars on my face to prove it. It took her about four years to show who she really was and after that it was just one thing after another. Her mother was also a nut case and I did my best to keep my wife away from her to no avail.

Remember mate this stuff isn't just what she picks up from her mother. It's genetic.

For a laugh. A few things that make single being great.

You can have a decent w**k. Women are terrible at it.

You can watch as much porn as you want to without being made to feel like you've just gassed a thousand jews.

You can have a great fart session in your room and don't have to hold anything back.

You can perv over any woman you like without fear of reprisal.

You can spend all of your money on yourself. Fiancee? no no, I think they just mispelt finance.

You don't end up feeling guilty over something you didn't do. Well, apart from if you have a really twisted fetish and always feel guilty about it after.

The extra cash will build a very nice dedicated i7/5xx Folding rig...

Be the first at OC3D to get an SR-2 rig folding!

And keep your head up Charlie, I can't say I know how you feel but I'm sure you will be feeling much better in due time.
