Looking for gym headphones

Greetings fellow forum members,

I am looking for wireless headphones for my girlfriend. They are going to be used 100% of time indoor at the gym, as for home use she has wired Audio Technica.
Obviously we are looking for at least some level of noise cancellation from music played at fitness studio. We want them to also be resistant to drops, however obviously it would be best if they sit tight on top of head and are not prone to easily falling off say during bench press etc. Sound level doesn't have to be Audiophile level, id say mid range is fine. And it would be nice if they look at least semi-decent as it's for girl :) Why I do not automatically go for another AT headphones? While they sound great, I am a bit concerned about built quality for gym usage, as my pair for example started peeling from earcups way sooner than I would expect. So sum it up

- wireless
- only full cups
- decent noise cancellation
- mid range quality of sound is fine
- they dont fall off easily at gym
- if they fall, they wont break easily
- Budget would be €200 , unless there is absolutelly nothing worthy in that price range

- good looks is a bonus

I always found headphones too bulky. IEMs always felt better for me in the gym. I could literally do jumping jacks or handstands and mine are secure. Plus, at low volumes, I cant hear the world around me.

Headphones were always "icky" for me once my head started to sweat. Then the foam would absorb it over time and get nasty.

But if you are dead set on headphones, the Bose QC 45 are popular here in Norway.

I live a natural bodybuilding lifestyle 7 days per week and IEM's are better than headphones especially if you are getting sweaty, Mainly for the reasons Warchild mentioned.

If your lady friend is doing actual training and not just walking around posing, Which that's all many women seem to go for nowadays, Then she'll want IEM's.

Not the recommendation you want but I'd personally suggest something like the Edifier Neo Buds Pro, IP54 rating, 5 hours battery life, Great sound, Excellent active noise cancellation and it comes with a range of varying sized foam/silicon tips.

Available in black and white.

99 euro

Main reason why we opted for full cups were my galaxy buds. I used them for gym for a while and they often fell out of my ears. She tried them and they were not sitting right by her aswell. Maybe its just galaxy buds thing though

Try Shure. They are over the ear IEMs, and I cant remove them even if I wired them and yanked on the cable. Not sure on the price where you are, but the Shure Aonic 215 are the cheapest and still beat the quality of many headphones or IEMs.

They are much pricier though I guess when comparing the market, but as a user of the SE846 for over a decade, they are almost unmatched in quality.

The ear pieces themselves can be detached from the wireless BT5 components and connected to a wire instead for even higher quality if that was preferred.

Gonna sound like im a promoter for them now, but often when you see musicians live on stage or commentators on TV with earpieces.. its actually Shure that they use. And you also get a mega pack of different earpieces to suit your ear size and shape.

Now you guys gave me tough nut to crack with this one. Bose would be still in range for me, but then Shure or Edifier are less than half of the price. Ill have to do some deep dive into reviews of those 3 over the weekend. Thanks alot for help
Edit : i looked at wrong shure , they are 265€ not 99€ welp. Crazy difference between wired/wireless for the same model

The wireless accessory can be bought separately, the beauty of shure is that they detach from the cable/wireless pieces and you can swap them to suit your needs. I do have the Gen 1 wireless I could probably give away which was about 160euro on release day. But the ear pieces do need MMCX connection.

But if you want to explore IEMs that have MMCX connectors, I think there are some good ones online that dont break the bank.
