WD green Advanced Format and WIN 7

hey everyone, i noticed today that i can enable AF on my WD green drive, but i can't seem to find any good info on WDs site, maybe someone here can help me, will i get any improvmant with AF on win 7 64 bit? will it even work with win 7? and do i have to reformat the whole drive?

I thought that the WD**ears drives have AF as standard. The problem only arises when you want to use them on older OS's such as XP, you then have to jumper pins 7-8 so the OS has the right offset and emulation.
