Some pics from CeBit that Ive been meaning to find a home for somewhere :D

Was very surprised to see how much thermaltake are pushing watercooling. I know the lads from specialtech were talking to them quite in depth (no joke) and giving feedback that seems to have been implemented in a few new products, not that Thermaltake would give any credit away.

As always with thermaltake its a simple design, well executed. Take a thermaltake tribe (the new one isnt out yet), a thermaltake Cpu block and thats it. Im not sure how they thread the pipes through and I should have pushed them more on how they done it.

If I had a xbox 360 (yep im waiting for a PS3 because of the wrestling games.....) id have a bash at it, if theres on going about cheap enough I'd be tempted with this myself as it seems the most non invasive way of cooling it. Also must ask where they got the plexi top from :D

I think its because the box360 is so damn noisy when its ramped up playing games. I know someone whos got one and he says that it makes a helluva racket, Id expect a v2 box360 to come out just at the time the ps3 comes out

Yes but the thing that makes the noise is the DVD-ROM player, not the actual unit itself: which is actually pretty quet.

Thats what I was going to say, the unit is silent, its the damn dvd drive  I even got the samsung drive and its still loud!

Waste of money.... I'd buy it! ;)

TT makes some corny products, mefinks we can add this one to the list.

Well, I have a friend who watercooled his first xbox. He modded it to hell though, so this wouldn't surprise me, of course the X360's dvd is going to be loud. What do you expect? Something quiet? Hows microsoft going to make money then?

I think i read somewhere that alot of them overheated, but that may have been my imagination.

No, i think thats true. I had one of the first 100 or so xbox's, this thing lit itself.

:yumyum: So to follow the tradition, they did it with x360.

they have had a few overheating problems, but it was well under the governing %'s.

People just get mad when they have a defective 360 (or any other product) and start flaming it, then the community thinks that its more or less everyone that rolls of the production line is going to be faulty. which isnt true for 99.9999999% of electrical goods.

yeah i had one. They heat up like a mofo. overheat really easily, loud as

. i was pretty dissapointed. If it overheats, it shuts off and sometimes whipes your HD/Mem card in the process. I sold it the week i got it, what does that tell you :)
