Water cooled Corsair Carbide Series Air 540

It looks like I'm good to go - some last parts arrived today.
Time to disassemble the loop and start little modding :)
I will do some preparation, but actual progress will be made over the weekend.

Last (for now, with fittings you never know ;-) 2 fittings sent from Specialtech by Royal Mail

Some screws for rad panels (probably enough for next 5 builds)

I plan to use this for panels - first time using this stuff, so I will have fun learning.

This is ultimate cable management ;-)

Color is slightly different, but as panels won't be very visible (bottom and front from inside) this will be OK. Very easy to work on the edges.

Awesome build. These are such good looking cases. The square form factor reminds me of some of the old SGi Workstations. If Tom says your cables are messy I pray he never sees mine :S

Nice, clean cut there by the looks of it. Good job. Looking forward to seeing how it all turns out when completed.

I will probably not get my alu sheets before weekend. That's all right. Let's do some PC PR0N then

Out of interest, would it have been more effective to have sacrificed push/pull for push or pull and had a 360mm ST30 in the front instead with the fittings at the bottom?

Nice build though, was seriously considering this case to replace my CM690-II until i found that the only 3.5" bays were the 2 hot swaps in the bottom.

it seems like overkill for just one gpu, do you plan on adding another? looks nice so far anyway mate

I wouldn't add a second gpu with how much room those rads take up, it would look mighty cramped with a second. Well, without push/pull it would be pretty cool but all that aside, its coming together pretty nicely as it is. I'm interested in how you're gonna hose this up!

not at the moment, I'm OK with my 670 for HD gaming
the whole project is about fun and overkill (as much as you can 'overkill' with 4 year old CPU) ;-)

in reality - I expect to have great temps and quiet PC with fans @900rpm
