Vista bundled with DX10?

According to a screeny of a friend on my clan forums Vista comes bundled with DX10. Is this the actual DX10 or DX9L named as DX10? Cause i thought DX10 wasnt supposed to be bundled with Vista when it was released and was to come out later. :eh:

Aero is there glassy 3D theme and is not DX10. DX10 is bundled w/Vista but dosnt come out till later(like u said), im pretty sure, someone plz correct me if im wrong.

Right now Vista only has DX9. DX10 will be a (free) download within a few months, around April-May iirc

I think that might actually be DX9L as ai pointed out earlier. It will be displayed as having DX10, but in reality is just a cover-up.

Well if your a hardcore gamer it would be. Seeing as XP is so easy to run and uses hardly any resouces compared to vista.

i think he means xp vs vista, b/c of the aero theme.

b/c vista does use more resources than xp, not by much, but enough to be noticable for gameplay.

DX10 is going to have aport called DX9L so I heard

But XP cannot run DX10 as it doesn't have the basic system level graphics integration to do it

The Aero Glass GUI uses mostly resources that didn't get used on XP - i.e. using GPU hardware acceleration all of the time

tbh i dont think anyone can be 100% sure on what is or isnt including in vista.

Well from what all the talk was from Microshlong and everybody else, saying Vista WAS NOT going to be bundled initialy with DX10. I think ill go for that.

That`s probably true, and I think as it rolls out and revisions come along, there will be increments and decrements to the package.

U`d think what was coming with it would be on a webpage.?!?!
