UV reactive

LOL thats a funny conversation..... btw does UV day GLOW mean that it glows without UV in the dark??? Because ill get some blue cold cathodes now (not UV) because I dont want my components to start falling offf........

dammit I really wanted UV lights.....dam!

Ok I'm putting and end to all of this right now....

The UV CCFL's in your comp are no more dangerous than a blunt stick! If you think otherwise then :foff:

:p

Haha this was a funny thread, I am testing them on my friends by building computers with UV lights in them, no casualties yet ;)

haha spose new marketing angle for the uv lights - tan on UV rays while you work, mine never done me no harm (or did they : ).

Funny you say that I have just bought (or my misses did for crimbo) armour case & UV leads etc, you can get armour with 25cm side fan but I prefered older style Clear side panel to show off goodies inside, looks good with UV bits.

lol ressurect a dead thread ;)

iirc the light emmitted from uv tubing is not dangerous in anyway as its a totally differrent source of light than the dangerous sun one. The tubing also has a protective layer on it to protect against the rare chance it may emitt this "bad" uv.

its not harmful as 99% of CC UV tubes are still just within the visible spectrum. when you get into blacklights the energy increase is still only tiny. im not sure how much of a decrease in wavelength you need to get into the realms of damaging uv
