takwn from my science book:

that solve your problem my paranoia?

actually that entry in the science book was referring to FLOURESCENT Tubes <that annoying accasionally flickery tube lighting> not UV lights as Flourescent tubing is a uv bulb coated in a UV reactive coating <inside> to convert UV to Light(visible);

sure over time UV lights may do some damage to your skin but u may b forgetting -- UV rays actually weaken/soften plastic so over time u may be physically weakening ur system and 1 day u'll turn on the fan and Crash a Blade will fly off and hit ur comps internals (w/c tubing will also be affected)

Rofl yeah like 50 years down the road :D I don't think anyone will own a PC long enough to let UV's do any damage to internal components, hehe.

and u cause more damage to ur skin by being in the sun for 30 seconds..than 10 years of UV cathodes lol

leave some printed paper <dvdcover etc> inside ur case for a few weeks watch the print fade (will only take a few weeks)....

i wouldnt be so sure only a tiny proportion of the suns rays are UV and the fact we are so far away from the sun and a LOT of the UV rays get filtered -- in a UV light we are purposefully creating UV rays and basically about 90% of the energy we pump into the UV tube becomes UV energy ... those tubes operate @ 80 watts and are bout 5Ft in size(in a high power solarium)... the one in u comp opertates @ bout 5 watts but are only 12 Inches long -- mm i dont like that comparison

listen m8s there are 2 types of UV

UVA

UVB

one of them is dangerous and the other isnt, the sun makes both of them so be careful of the sun ;)
