USA Server

Hey FragTek can you possibly change the USA Server so that it will alter the maps to maps that we will be having our matches on? For example, dust, dust2, office, inferno, train, and aztec. If there are others that we will be having matches add them to if you can. Thanks and i would appreciate if you could do this.

I might consider it, but being as it's also a public server I'll more than likely keep all of the maps in rotation. We'll see. If the call is high enough for it then it is something that could possibly be worked out.

Its a very good map, but office is REALLLY hard to attack if T camp with the hostages.

Also, there are several cheats to winning on CS maps (like shooting stray hostages etc).

Yeah, we played a team on Office for fun a little while back. Unfortunately they were very tactical as T and had awpers covering the long corridors and shotguns covering the smaller rooms. We got whooped.

But we did whoop em on Dust2

Also FragTek could you put bots there when nobodys in the server so people can play in it like me when nobodys there to play with? I usually play on the UK one because it has bots but the only thing is that it doesnt switch maps so i only get practice on dust2. I would appreciate that. Thanks

You are better off playing on some other public server. It's better without bots anyway, bots don't play like people, they camp a lot more and such.If you need bots find a pub server with bots.

The thing is its hard to find a pub server thats rotates maps. Most of them just have one server like the UK OC3D server.

But when its only on dust2 it doesnt help you get better on any other maps because i know all of our wars arent going to be on dust2 and i just want to have a server that switches maps, and has bots when nobodys in it thats an OC3D server.

if you wanna learn maps purely for playing in wars, then learn the following..

dust2

nuke

inferno

cbble

train

mill

aztec

the problem with rotation servers is that eventually they will play a map that you dont like, and for that reason they arent popular. its best to just find servers that play certain maps only, and play them when you feel like that map.

Gotcha. But cant you set it to rotate through which maps you want?

If you are the server admin you can set it to rotate through the maps you want yes. As a regular player no you can't. I don't think frag plans on adding bots or limiting it to certain maps. You are SOL.

I havent completely decided the fate of all of this quite yet. I'm really waiting for Steam to pull their heads out of their asses and fix the

they broke before I do anything more with the server.
