The 6900k? no of course not. Neither does the 6800k etc. The reason? firstly they add weight and bulk and secondly Intel's stock cooler would have seen them throttling to within an inch of their lives.

As I have mentioned before, at this end of the spectrum (IE the bleeding edge) you buy a cooler, that's mandatory.

X99 does not come with stock coolers, Intel don't make any coolers to handle a 140W TDP.

I know about the Intel chips, I'm referring to the Ryzen CPU lol.

At some point yes, but you will pay for it. And TBH? unless your name is "stock Sarah" you will be replacing it any way :D
 
I hope the reviews will not be using the noctua or if they do that the fan gets swapped out for something like what will be on the retail cooler rather than a special press version

I used a H110i GT - same one I use for all of the reviews.....
