Okay this is most probably a really simple and dumb thing, but I cannot work it out and it's starting to get to me...

I go to view the threads in the nice linear view, I click to see the next page, then it turns into hybrid mode - and throws me to different points in the thread.

(only happens on EP forum)

I have had dodgy links to 'contact webmaster' aswell, and it is very annoying. Is there a setting where I can permanently change it to linear???

Okay, I have changed it to Old Linear, and up to 40 posts per page. But it is still showing the hybrid, even after refreshing...

Did you save the changes with the button at the bottom?

I did indeed! It crossed my mind to mention I did that...

I think it could be a nasty little setting somewhere in explorer. Strange it doesn't do it in other forums.

I'm wiping the system soon, so hopefully that'll fix it!

Re-Installed the operating system and it works now! Just hope it doesn't happen again...
