Those little annoying F@H things ..

My rigs are off as its wayyyyy to hot in the UK atm, 35.5c when i finished work :(

Also having trouble with my i5 rig again, was locking up BSOD etc etc which i thought i'd sorted a year back but suddenly reappeared so dumped some mem and put some other in & all seemed well until the PSU started revving / bad vibrations as the desktop loads + my GTX 950 would completely ignore any settings and just start revving to 100% which i've put down to Afterburner. As for the psu i have a nice and shiney Fractal Design Edison M to drop in :cool:

My farm is dropping to bits :o

GTX 950 is defo faulty, fan nearest the back spins at 100% whilst the other either does nothing or spins at only 10 or 20% and starts to smell bad if left to long. When left to idle the card is fine but if i use Afterburner etc the card goes crazy then refuses to take any commands for fan speed so either faulty fan or fan controller so that's up for RMA.

Now my X6 rig which has been the ROCK in my folding farm has now developed the exact same PSU fault as the other rig had on startup, loud revving / vibrations from a cold boot :banghead: so there's another one i've got to change lol

But i'm still :D:D:D as folding is worth it :cool:

GTX 660Ti back in for awhile, pts wont be great but better than nothing.

Stupid servers not connecting / accepting wu's on several tries then for no reason deciding they don't like said wu and dumping them :mad:

Oh the joys of folding :D:p
 
Flaky servers again (171.67.108.105 / 46) nothing is uploading, gets so far then stops, restarts gets so far again and same thing, when it does finally upload after several attempts the server doesn't like what its got and dumps it, this is happening on every WU now since say 12.00 GMT :(
 
The latest nVidia drivers are not playing nice. Lots of bad work units with them. Had to update them to run sketchup.

I'm still on older drivers with the 970 and lost PPD with the introduction of Core 21 V.0.0.18:(, looks to be around 25K PPD. Didn't seem to bother the AMD cards though....
 
Have been getting the dreaded 'Server did not like results, dumping'again the past several days, lost a shedload of pts :(

Certainly nothing wrong with my GPU / Router so i'm defo pointing the finger (mainly the middle one) at the servers.
 
Well I finally received my watercooling parts but I'm missing some hardware to mount the block to the gpu...so unfortunately I won't be able to fold for a week or 2 since my main rig is in pieces while I wait for what I need to come in. :(
 
Stupid Windows update. Had a machine down all weekend because it restarted to install version 1709. Restart options are set to off as well. Looks like I'll have to disable the service so this doesn't happen again.
 
Another machine down. It's back up for now, but this threadripper gear can't get here fast enough.
