I'm in about the same boat, just need lots of batteries so you can store those rays when they show up now and again
.Edit: A fleet of hamsters works as well!

My rig will be down for a few days. I'm upgrading to a i7-8700K and I need to leak test my loop again before I turn everything on.
On the plus side, hopefully the extra mhz of the new cpu will increase my ppd and help me fend off trawetSluaP

I don't fold on my CPU but it's heating up loot cos of the toothpaste Intel used so thinking of replacing it!

I don't fold on my CPU either but I remember one of steve's posts showing that faster cpu is able to feed the GPU client better resulting in increased ppd. We shall see.
Though since I am upgrading to a 6-core cpu I may try folding on 4 or 5 cores and see what happens. As long as temps stay under control.

How long did it last?
It's been running since July 2013. The card still works, but the fans have died.
RIP GTX 1070...My first folding casualty!

I'm Folding on a 1080 Ti and a 1070 Ti but the Folding application detects them incorrectly. The 1080 Ti is labelled as a 1070 Ti and vice versa.
Any idea why and how to fix?
