It seems the beta version of the folding client doesnt like my CPU as ive left it for over an hour and its not completed 1% yet, so i reverted back to the GPU tracker and that client does the same whilst the beta client is open!

I used to get that with GPU Tracker when it crashed,or the GPU overheated then crashed. The display will show no movement in folding progress, but the CPU/GPU load and fans were still whirling, and looking at the log text file shows that still still kept folding in the background.

Reboot.

Hmm, I am over 250 miles from my pc and notice that I am not getting any more points which means BSOD!

I am back where it is tomorrow so will have to sort that out obviously got too hot (hope thats all it was)

unlucky mate i had a simlar problem to day as well woke up to find my processor running at 95c graphics cards wernt to far off that aswell my small room and this nice weather is bad for folding ! XD

I know how you feel. I have to leave all the doors wide open just to vent the heat into the rest of the house..

BSOD was one problem, the other was that someone turned my net adaptor off at the mains!! %£$^%££ think it may have been the cleaner to plug her hoover in. hopefully will have a new one today with pass through power to prevent that from happening

Recent windows update has restarted both PC's and for the last 2 days they havent been folding! i only noticed this morning!

Both my A5 keep failing. My 4x 460GTX keep crashing. I'm going to throw them out the window in a minute.

I just want it to be cold again. Everything worked in the cold..

And this explains why PPD is massively down.

I keep getting project 6062 which for some reason destroys my PPD at 5K on a 1100t @ 3.8. I dont know whats so monsterous about this WU but id like to move on from it as ive had it consistantly for 2 days now

I've got one the same atm,gonna take a couple days to complete by looks of things.

Had it on most of day and only 460/2000 complete.

Replaced my asrock x58 xtreme6 and bought a new asus r3e for one of my new i7-970,and found out its the cpu,that was a crappy chip for oc`ing.

Lovely mobo though

So 24h ago,it failed a big wu at 83%

,and i hoped to hit 4.2ghz,but that have to wait until i have a good nice flow in ppd
