Its stable under 24 hours of prime and 8 hours of LinX stress tests.

I only get that every so often though - I`ll tweak the OC abit and see how it goes

am also having quite a few hangs and drop outs possibly caused by what is mentioned below. Lets hope it resolves itself other wise I may need to drop my OC down. This all really sucks since I now have the ability to fold 24/7 and a really crap connection atm. NOT HAPPY!!

Well, I am in a new location and was all looking to get some benching (and folding) done but have got the worst connection ever. This resulted in me buying a devolo over the power line network kit in order to get a decent enough connection. The next problem is that I am on a different ring main as to where the router is so it does not work!!!!, I have now bought a rj45 crimping kit and am gonna be knocking up a 50m plus patch through lead in order to get a decent enough connection to send results.

I had an interesting WU yesterday that took about 30-35 hours to complete and yet only grabbed me 8k ppd, I came back from work and spotted it at 30%+ but no previous WU's completed since the night before so I restarted the tracker and left it for an hour.

When I came back it only did 4% so I restarted my PC, left again and it just finished that WU this morning and now im back up to 13k ppd with normal WU's

what the hell was all that about?

My internet connection seems like to like to drop in the middle of the night... When I wake up to discover this, I have to reset both the modem and router multiple times before it re-establishes a connection to the internet. Not exactly fun at 7AM

I used to get connection resets with virgin media,however i started using open dns and it seemed to reolve the issue.

Just out of curiosity do you use torrent progams over night?,as i was and maybe this has something to do with the reset on the isp's end.

@steve - please notice where in the world people with problems are (ie: stampz)! they do not have virgin broadband in the USA

however i didn't state that they had virgin media,just that i had had a similar problem with them,and what sorted it for me.

It seems the beta version of the folding client doesnt like my CPU as ive left it for over an hour and its not completed 1% yet, so i reverted back to the GPU tracker and that client does the same whilst the beta client is open!

im getting 5k less ppd than i should be as my CPU isnt working through 13k as it shoud, it seems to be attracting 7-8k ppd WUs or something is wrong
