The wife plugged in a 1500 watt hair dryer into a circuit that had 3 folding machines on it, so popped circuit breacker and 3 machine not restarted for 6 hours....

Wow, that's really unlucky.

I've had to resort to cpu only folding as the rise in temps in the U.K is massively increasing GPU temps.

. My room has a window, but the darn thing can't be opened, so the room gets extremely hot. I have had the radiator in my room turned off completely since I started folding. Will resume GPU folding when temps are more reasonable.

Got about 4 windows open but still GPU temps are 78c, up from 72c. Even CPU has shot up to 80c. There's just no wind

Might have to move rig into bathroom where its cooler

GPU currently at 72C (windows open), but in the evening regularly running at 85C (This 560 TI runs quite warm).

Yeah has been cooler and mildly breezy today.

I have my bulldozers with an Excalibur on their heads each to help out the stock coolers and haven't had thermal shutdown since.

They should bring out dual-socket spanning HSFs to make use of the space between sockets.

GPU now down to 77c, with the help of the breeze same with CPU, down to 78c from 81c yesterday

Just installed my second overclocked GTX 570 in SLI last night. My temps have crept up now to around 80C on the CPU (hottest core; lowest is around 74C);

The GPU's are running at 79C (top) and 71C (bottom); It is now similar to the Sahara, during a windstorm, in my office.

The cool thing is getting 26K CPU PPD; and 24K GPU PPD each.

Now just need those four BitFenix side intake fans to arrive...

My GPU was running at a whopping 94 C. So I have stopped folding altogether until it cools down. The ambient temps in my room are above 30 so I can't fold even if I wanted to. My office/gaming room has a window that can't be opened :/

The fan is too bloody loud though. @ 70% atm and I think im gonna be deaf in my left ear
