I am now really starting to think he is the one doing this,

that bastard ones turned of my system resulting in a lost of 1x SMP WU at 70% and 2 GPU WU's one also at around 70%...

but that kinda was my own fault because i had my PSU outside my rig and no cover bracket

This could be quite possible as well

as i do this i heard maybe i just try to overclock while my clients are running ..

o man i am going to place a camera...

The only good part is , that these GPU WU´s dont take a major hit on the CPU SMP Performance,

but that´s all ..i´d rather have the 9xxP WU´s as in the long run (as you said) more PPD

Well i am going to try (AGAIN) switch GPU slots so i can overclock my i7 rig again

i already tried about everything (New OS, different SSD) just not GPU switch...

Main rig (for now),

i7 860 SMP client , flags BIGadv (wich are of no use at the moment).

1x GTX260 GPU2 client.

1x GTX460 GPU3 client.

will add another GTX460 in about a week or 2 so that rig will change again..

Second rig is running fine but i will list it anyways,

i5 750 SMP client , no extra flags needed..

2x GTX460 GPU3.

On a little side note: i never had it work so flawless with a GPU swap

i could just start up the clients and all is working fine now.. the second part, overclocking ..BRB!

is your i5 stable? what clocks? what kinda ppd does it get running a3's? im gonna be at the other halfs for a few days was gonna stick on the smp

maybe ur i7 is unstable cause of the gpu2 and 3?

Yup its Folding at home stable at 3600Mhz but it has also been at 4000Mhz with indeed only GPU2 clients running,

now with 2x GPU3 clients its not stable at 4000MMhz anymore...

i5 has a P6068 WU and does 9000/10000PPD the POS 6701 WU does 5000/6500PPD...

keep in mind this is with the 611P WU's so ones i get the 9xx WU's the SMP gets a nice cripple of around 2500PPD

So you could be right about the mix of GPU2 and GPU3, i will see in a few moments when i try to overclock again...

Well the i5 isn't doing anything else then F@H, in my case.. so i will keep it running

but nope, i just can't get a BIGadv WU anymore and i just don't know why, i think i am just unlucky with this

So far my i7 is back at 3700Mhz and no lock yet but i had this before,

by the moment i thought it was stable it locked up.. so i will keep this Updated...

yeah keep us updated! i was thinkin about a 3.9 oc cause i can get the volts quite a bit lower than 4ghz think it was 1.24v @ 3.9

all is running fine overclocked at 3800Mhz no locks ups at all ,

Config is : GTX260 in slot 1 and GTX460 in slot 3 then i can overclock again

also found out something weird , my 6701 WU is doing 20000PPD now

i mean seriously WTF!?

im on the 6701 wu too but im only getting between 6-8k with 2 gtx460s folding too and my i7 is oc to 3.8ghz

Something wrong there. I get about 20k with a 470 and an i7 @ 3.4GHz folding 6701 WUs. I'd expect you to be more like 25k-30k PPD with that rig. Are you running 24/7?

Edit: I think I misunderstood you? Are you saying the i7 alone is getting 6-8k plus whatever your 460's are getting?

sorry i meant just for my i7 im getting 6-8k ppd lol overall im getting 30k+ppd and nope i only run it when i'm around
