This is a mod I did to an Epox nForce board I believe, can't even remember any more.... I do remember I got 939 Winchester up to like 3.4ghz on air with this mod, lolz.

ahhh the good ole days of pot soldering to tweak it further

I also had my psu done that way to stabilize the rails better then slapped a phase change on it or sub zero liquid and go for broke.

naw its more along the line that mobo man's have figured out were gonna push it so why not support it without having to modify the board in such a way. so now they allow for voltage changes to a larger degree in bios.

I quite miss doing hard mods. It made things more challenging and helped separate the men from the boys.
