Thermaltake core x 9

I just bought one of these case's , As thermaltake shouted from the roof tops about it's modular design and is stackable . I was wondering if any of you guys had looked into purchasing one yourselves . My first thoughts on opening this monster was OMG it's huge . And it is bloody immense enough room for 5 480 rad in push pull or an average sized family to move into . I know this girl is ugly and all the bottox in the world isn't going to help her looks, I do like her all the same . As for build quality it's pretty solid I've not found any flex to this case .
And as it says on the tin you can pretty much take this to bit with very little trouble . So guys whats you thoughts on the case if any ? :)

Looks quite nice. I'd actually go for one myself but it's too wide to fit on my desk.

Do like, though.

IMO i would never own another thermaltake they really don't make good cases

Thermaltake aka Thermaltacky :p

It'll fall apart in six months. £139 for a poor copy of a Lian Li case (with an interior copied from a HAF XB ) is a reasonable price though. They are getting better but Thermaltake are still bottom of my list.

Never had a good experience with their cases. Their hardware is often OK as its just rebranded OEM stuff.

It'll be cool to see what you do with it though :)

Never actually bought a TT case so no idea on the quality. I just like the way it looks and how it's laid out, very Caselabs.

A lot of TT stuff seems to be "very something" one way or another, I can deffo see where a lot of their 'inspiration' comes from

It's good though dude they bring it to the masses and make it affordable.

Caselabs, Little Devil ETC all very nice but obscene prices. I love the way this case lays the board down flat, even if it's a big one.

I'd definitely be in aside from the fact I just don't have the floor space for it. My case has to be on my desk which thankfully is massive but won't hold a cube sadly due to the enormous monitor I run (two actually).

Right now Caselabs is pretty much USA only unless you want to pay the high price and then half of it again in shipping and handling fees, taxes ETC.

£139 this looks like a real bargain. Would be wicked to stack two as well and fill one with rads and res'.

A good price is fine - I guess when its always "just like something" it just feels like they just rip off other ideas - its what they are known for in the industry.

I do like this case - I just dont like the the way they are seen to go about stuff I guess.

Thermaltake used to be the case to buy back in the day they set the standard along with coolermasterand the gorgeous stacker 830/832. I loved my kandalf wc case it was solid with amazing build quality same with the armour cases. It's a shame to see them in the state they are now with no vision or originality.

So far thanks for your comments guys . it's nice to hear what other peoples opinions are , though I do agree with most of what you guys say and respect the ones I might not agree with the input is nice to read all the same .
So far with case all i've done is break it down . Cut acrylic for the mods I'm planning , the radiator mounts are removable , solidly made no flex there .

There is a full respray in works and lot of acrylic work too.

Rad's have been ordered along with other odd's and sod's

I promise their will be a build log for this ugly betty when I get some more time .

But firstly I need to finish the vengeance i've been modding
