The Who's Going All New AMD Thread?

So my fellow OC3Der's who like myself are going all new AMD or part AMD?
I myself am looking at an RX6800XT with either the 5900X or 5950X!
So sound off below what you yourself are getting!

I have no interest in moving from my 2080 Ti until maybe the gen after the new AMD and Nvidia, But I am looking at swapping my 3950X out for the 5950X ^_^

I've been all AMD for years. I've played with nvidia/Intel, but I've always had to sell them on fairly quickly to raise emergency funds.

My very first rig was an FX 4170 paired with a HD 7870. That was replaced with an R5 1600 and a Vega 56. I've recently sold the Vega 56 and replaced it with a 5600 XT so it's quieter for HTPC duty when it finally gets there. I'd have waited, but a friend needed a decent card on the cheap, so I was happy to help out as I was planning to swap it anyway.

After Christmas I'll likely build my new primary rig with the 6800 XT and a Zen 3, 65W, 8-core.

A similar thing happened to me a mate who runs and IT company rings me about two weeks ago and says got a customer here who's rig is fried when's the new stuff coming out, so told him and the customer said can't wait so we checked availability on the current stuff out of stock, two weeks away, nope can't wait so I sold him my 3700X and 5700XT so that's why I'm getting the new shinies

Yep, last builds were FX8320/HD7870XT and most recently 1600AF/RX480. Looking at getting a 5900X and 6700XT.

I am going to wait for the reviews, but probably at some point next year I will be moving all my systems to AMD GPU's with AMD CPU's.


My main machine is a Ryzen 3950x with a 2080Ti, and that will go to a 5950x and 6900XT probably.


My 2nd machine is a Ryzen 2700x with a 1660Ti, which will probably go to a 5900x and 6800XT.


My Plex server is going to a 2700x with probably a Quadro or something depends on how the new AMD cards are for Plex.


My dad's pc will probably be going from a 7700K and 1080Ti to a 5900x and a 6800XT.


It all depends on reviews and whether I get a new job or not.

Thank's waiting to see if I get an interview which I have been told will be a phone interview first then a proper interview.


I hope I get it, because I have wanted to leave my current job for around 3 months now, and everyday it's a struggle not to tell them to stick it, but I cannot really afford to just quit.
