Oh yes. The project is very much alive and well - it's just taken a huge amount of time due to a number of unforeseen problems. I'm hoping it will be complete within 3 weeks.

I started polishing the heavy duty panels.

The initial design process took months. I started out with a rough idea, and took it to CAD.

After months of blood, sweat and tears, I managed to get the case fabricated to the customer requirements. It looked simply fantastic.

There was still masses of work to do at this point, and we were presented with some "nasty" problems which needed dealing with.

I have to tell you that this would be fantastic editorial for enthusiast magazines when completed.

Looks like a fun challenge and the work we see here so far is fantastic.

When its completed you and the owner/customer could contact cpc with the worklog finished item and some benches. If it goes in you'll get a few pages coz its such a beast and plenty of advertising
