ED goodness -
From what I have seen in videos and screenshots, Elite is looking alot better graphically after these last updates and the next one coming up I guess in around 3 weeks.
Still need to find a place on my desk given my new layout for my Hotas and Rift sensors, or build something to house them all properly for use so I can get back in to playing.

Yeah ED especially run at 4K looks really nice, It really does need to be run at 4K to bring out the detail and it's not too hard to run either.
4K is basically a pre-requisite when playing this game outside of VR.
Yeah the game looks stunning in 4K, shame at the moment I don't have a 4K capture card so I run the game at 1080p.
When I can get a 4K capture card though, I will be very happy and also looking forward to getting a better VR headset when they become available, the Rift is fine but I want some better detail and also would love to see the frame rate get unlocked from 90.

You can run DSR through the NV Control panel and run it at 4k. It'll downsample to 1080p so it displays. It'll look better but not native 4k quality.

Had some spare time so ground out the last ranks from Rear Admiral on the Federal side to Admiral and from Duke to king on the Imperial side, Just incase FDev release new rank locked ships ^_^

I honestly have no idea how to even level up in that game. I get to bored to quickly. Only ever met a person once in that game in my 30-40 hours playing.

I couldn't go back. Started playing with a controller for the few weeks but having a HOTAS it just feels so good.
Trying to get all the beta functions mapped is a pain though. Really liking the new exploration mechanics, the mining side still needs some work. The mechanics work well, but the tools don't gel with traditional methods at all, and the new scanner only cares about the new mechanics, not the material you're after.

Logitech X56, The amount of buttons is really useful with some buttons being direction and analogue.

Been eyeing that one up more than any other, but the £200+ price tag keeps putting me off at the moment. Will probably get it inevitably since Ace Combat is coming next year as well.
I did look at the Warthog but £400 made me choke
