hey guys sorry for delays, work and life you know how it is, all good though !
Been trying to get my hands on more kit to make it a more worthwhile update for all.
So whats been happening, I have been doing a fair bit of research on just the finer details as this can be equally important, I want to add some really nice touches to this baby.
Things that are definitely happening - a window in the side panel this is currently on with, very nice finish 5mm clear Acrylic window...................... Now don't shoot me but I am not doing this side panel mod, but the super helpful guys up at KustomPC, Scotland are currently taking care of this for me I have spoken with these guys and the finished product is absolutely awesome and exactly what I want, and to be honest they will do a far far better job than I could do, cutting the steel side panel the finished detail looks excellent so big thank you to those guys :beerchug:
With the window in and a few modifications with panels etc the setup will be so that you will be able to see the orange livery and fans of the GPU when installed, not the backside of a PCB.
With regards to the window in the roof this will hopefully also happen, I want to make a few modifications to the case myself and again with a little help from KustomPC just to source the right piece of Clear Acrylic (a possible one off cut by hand) and I will sort the rest, I am not really sure at this moment if this has even been done yet !? I cant find anything on this but if anyone has seen this already let me know so this may be first who knows !!??
As for other details, the lid window will be clear as I will install orange under-lighting and Orange LEDs to glow upwards. My next purchases will be orange braiding for all PSU cables should be here next week, these cables look very cooll.......... but in the meantime I have just got my hands on the following:-
BeQuiet 530W modular PSU very very nice quality PSU with a splash of Orange
G.Skill ARES Ram 16GB 1600MHz and yep super bright orange
2TB sata6 internal HD
120GB FORCE GT SSD
H80i
DVD burner but not sure about this one yet, it may not go in as not sure i really need it!?!?!?
yet to purchase 3570K and zotac amp GTX670. But santa is coming
Will sort pics out for all this equipment over the weekend to share

sounds like an awesome little project your working on.
top window would reduce the possible airflow options a wee bit, but nothing game breaking, if your using ivy bridge and kepler anyway the heat youll have to deal with will be bugger all

exactly the lid window is just a test it may work out by pretty cool so we will see how this goes I am not too worried about the airflow ! all things good ordering orange braiding and cables today, just want to get as much kit together so i can make a good go of it !

I'd go for the xygmatek fans too, they're dead quiet and perform well! Plus I think they look better than the other fans you linked.

In the meantime I have started prepping a bit more kit and the Case of course, I am going to strip this little baby to bare bones and change the internal colour scheme completely to a contrasting complimentary colour but more later but in the meantime I thought I would share a few pics so far...... more soon.

Hi ALL,
Got my windowed side panel today and I love it, I am sure some of you peeps may recognise this type of panel from those clever guys over at KUSTOMPC, big thank you to those guys in sorting this out for me, cheers
As you can also see I have now pretty much stripped the case down to its bare bones as I have pretty much decided to have this baby dipped !
In quite what yet I am not sure but I may have this skeleton CHROMED

Looking good, friend! The side panel window looks really good. Always have had a soft spot for cube cases with windows and small cube builds!
