You would be surprised at the lengths some people go to to get free stuff. I am sure that there is probably a clinical name for it but I wouldn't have a clue what to even search for to find that out lol

Personally, I doubt I will win (31 entries, 172,353 total entries minus the disqualified entries). I still enter though because it both helps OC3D when I spread my links which may draw in new readers and there is that 1 in a million chance that my name will get drawn and I will win a rather nice system and I can spend the money that I have been hoarding for a new system on a good monitor instead.

in total i had 93 entries , i entered everyday as soon as i saw the wonderful competition , but some people are saying they had 170+ entries , this smells extremely fishy , why cant people just be satified to be in with a chance of a beautiful prize , i mean my old computer is a disgrace so this system would be an almighty blessing for me but i guarentee you that the ones that are cheating already have a good computer and they want it for crypto or something , makes me sick !

There can be a variety of reason for cheating, and it need not be for mining.
The reason why many do it in games it simply to elevate themselves above someone else, to "prove" superiority because we quite rightly don't see them as being anything special normally.
As others are saying, I just hope this goes to someone who can get a much improved gaming experience out of it.

Yeah i don't get the whole mining part since it destroys your graphic card in 6-12 months and it is barely worth it(depending on what you mine ex. Bitcoin is not profitable at all with just one computer anyway) and they (cryptominers) are making buying graphics cards so hard for us by constantly increasing the prices. Anyway, bring more HYPE!

No it doesn't, when you are sensible. With good airflow and undervolting which yields better efficiency mining can be gentler on the card than gaming, since it'll operate at a consistent sensible temperature. But yeah it can also bring flaws out in cards where the manufacturer has skimped on VRMs, but that's not exclusive to mining.

Yes but they are more prone(if you max it) to because of mining(at least that is what i heard and saw on YouTube, i have not mined myself). And it also depends on your provider's electricity costs, which is pretty expensive where i live. Offcourse, if you have Little to no electricity costs, this can be quite a good investment. Or you can Just buy especially for mining rigs like AntMiner,..
