so, give me some examples of how it was possible to get some extra entries?
i was checking the forum with some frequency and have not seen any form or way to get some extraa entries
 
Before people start asking and/or complaining like they always do every year..

Once the competition closes DOES NOT mean the winner is announced immediately.
Tom is a busy man. It may take him a while to get the winner. Sometimes a couple days others a week. So be patient and keep checking in.

Let's face it most of the people posting here are just flies around a dog poo any way. As soon as the winner is announced they'll bugger off for another year.

That's certainly true but the OC3D comminity is much wider than just the forum members, so I feel people have every right to enter regardless of how active they are.
