That is often down to sponsorship, or in the case of personally funded builds their budget and availability of hardware.
I for one would find even a 1050ti a substantial upgrade, let alone the Ryzen 5 and 1070 on that.
If you have a desire for that on a giveaway, there are others catering to that.
This isn't trying to, nor does it need to.

I can't argue there isn't appeal to one, but this is trying to be its own thing.

I think NZXT did that better with the full height bar, making a feature of what is otherwise a line of grommets or even just holes.
Anidees tried to do that to some extent with a shroud covering the holes, but left too much space at the top unused.
It is a move away from grommets though, which is appreciated.

Looks nice. Most builds are heavy in the black category
