Wolf of Wall Street was surprisingly good... expected it to be a crappy comedy number, turned out to be one of my all time favorites.
Very similar to scarface, goodfellas, catch me if you can... those types of movies![]()
I watched 12 Years a Slave quite recently. What a fantastic movie. An acting masterclass from the whole cast. Some bits were difficult to watch, but were essential to the overall emotional impact of the movie (imo).
That sounds like a good movie (not for entertaining purposes, although yes I suppose they are but in a display of what happened, education purposes if you get me) for it to be able to make you feel, sad, disturbed almost by it? My Sister said the same but you can't go off a girls opinion. ^_^
It was both sad and disturbing. An unadulterated look at Slavery. It leaves very little to the imagination. Some of the more disturbing scenes are dragged out and they make you feel really uncomfortable. It's good because it adds to the realism, but bad because it can make you physically sick.
I'm seeing The Wolf of Wall Street tonight, and after seeing all this praise I'm really looking forward to it![]()
last weekend i watched layer cake and the iceman. both are worth a recommendation.
Watching Back to the future series again, can't believe I'm watching a movie from 1985 haha
Edit: If nobody has seen Jackass: Bad Grampa yet, give it a watch. So funny, I think it's just come out to buy.
Watched Hackers again a little while ago. I still think it's a great movie, though it's dated as hell.
