The Incredibly Thirsty Hulk

i'll be calling in around 6pm to see if the driver has dropped it off so i can pick it up tonight. otherwise it'll have to wait until tomorrow

either way, more pictures coming very soon!

update 2 posted. the first time i tried to post the update, it didn't work and gave me the following message:

You have posted a message with more emoticons than this community allows. Please reduce the number of emoticons you've added to the message

i did not know this rule even existed...hahaha

anyways, enjoy! will post a couple more pictures once i finish flushing out the rads!

so i was going through my packaging and found a pair of chrome barb fittings!

i tried using the barb fittings on my reservoir and it looks much cleaner than the compression fittings so i'm going through with that, which leaves me with 10 compression fittings for everything else. worked out just perfectly. i've already started on the build. update soon!

final update posted! enjoy!

stay tuned if you wanna see the back plate later on tonight, but you'll probably cry...hahaha

ahhhh also forgot about temps!

will post those when i get home later

One nice looking rig

Not a big fan of the Neon though, it looks a lot better without it in my opinion.

Nice build m8 and good hardware. I like ur loop also, but why have fangrills on a radiator without any fans on it? makes no sence to me, but if you like it, go for it

Epic looking rig dude!

Stoner81.

thanks man! had a lot of fun building it

thanks mate! i have another order coming (still waiting...been stuck at the border forever) with white LED's and a couple of vandal switches so i can switch between the two. the white LED's will give it a cleaner look (like in TTL's Cincinnati rig for VB), and i think that's what i'll have on most of the time

the UV is just for show when friends come over and if i get bored

thanks azurite! i put them on because i knew that during the build i would end up hitting the fins on the rad when i'd tube up or try to tighten a fitting. and just for a bit of security in the future!

in all honestly, i can't even see them because of where the window on the side panel is located, so it's almost like they're not even there

The loop and the rig in general looks awesome
smile.png
. However I don't like the lighting
sad.png
, but it's your rig, so if you like it, keep it
smile.png

nope, i dont like how purple the uv lighting is either
sad.png
which is why i have the white LED's coming!

i'll be sure to upload more pics later, cause i dont think these really do the loop justice

as for temps, my cpu would reach about 75C on air, and now it hits about 65C on the same voltage .

my graphics card has done much better, where it would reach about 81C after an hour of OCCT on air, and now it only hits 53C at most.

i guess you could speculate that i applied the thermal paste incorrectly, but it was just a simple dot method and the cpu block installation was smooth...

sorry to multi-post, but for some reason i can't seem to be able to find the edit button anymore...OC3D forum's taken a new interface for me and i can't even find my notifications. not sure if this was a planned/announced change, or if it's just my browser (firefox). anybody else experiencing this as well?

anyway, here's an update with new lighting:

kept the uv lighting, added white LEDs, then connected each of them to vandal switches at the front of my case

with the basement lights on ("firework" mode on)

probably won't ever use the UV lighting anymore unless it's just for fun, but i decided to keep it in there anyway. enjoy!

Looks absolutely incredible mate - well done!
I agree with you and the others that the UV was a little OTT, but the white lights have made it perfect.

Congrats on your amazing rig :P

The new lighting looks awesome dude, I love it :).

The forums look different because they were 'hacked' quite recently and the forum software being used currently is only temporary. It will take a bit of time, but the forums will be back to normal, with a bunch of new and awesome features.

Unfortunately, we're stuck with this from now on, dude. Not going back to IPBoard :(

thanks everyone! i'm about 99% happy with my build now. just wish i could figure out a more subtle way to raise my graphics card, but this is the easiest way for me.

sad to hear about the forum being hacked. i did have trouble logging in for the past couple weeks or so, and even had to reset my password just to log in and post the pics. thanks for all your feedback guys! :)
