That Auburn vs. Alabama game though

Wow.

War Eagle!

Would not usually watch football, or even care, but seeing as I will be attending this time next year I felt this game was worth it.

11/10 so worth. Will re-watch.

Ikr, I couldn't believe that last play!

Freaking 28-28 with 1s left in the game, and Alabama misses the 4th FG of the game only to have Auburn pick it up and run it in for 6, winning the game.

That is one for the history books right there!

War Eagle!

(Kick Bama, Kick!)

Just saw the commentators talking about it after the game and it was a 100 yard field goal return for a TD. Insane. I don't like college football but man that's just pure luck.

Not really when you think of how common turn-arounds are. After all, Alabama did make a 99 yard TD pass earlier in the game.

I got told once american football is like an alien language to people who know nothing about it, I now believe it :p

Any sport is an alien language to people that know nothing about it. Football and NASCAR and the NBA around playoff time are the only sports I can talk to people about. Anything else and you might as well be speaking Latin.

What is going to hurt Alabama is when the BSC voters go to work tomorrow and look at their candy ass schedule that they played this year. The only high ranked team they played was Auburn and they lost. That might just drop them out of the top 2. However, they may have a chance because they lost due to 3 missed field goals. Same as with LSU a couple years ago. They outplayed LSU but their kicker missed FOUR field goals. Maybe Saben will actually recruit some decent kickers next season since this is the 2nd time he's been bit in the ass by them.

Same with soccer or "Fútbol‎"

Football makes more sense as the game is played with the feet, Where as american football is mainly played with the hands which makes zero sense, Call it hand ball ^_^
AF is more akin to rugby, Although people who play rugby dont wear all that wussy armour :P

Going to an NFL game is on my bucket list, I have family in new york and they said at a game it's like the very air is electric, Meant to be an awesome atmosphere :)

Football requires the use of everything. That "armour" doesn't really do much. The helmet just keeps it safe so a 300 pound lineman doesn't crush your head in when he falls on you. Bothers me when people call rugby harder. Football requires a more tactile approach. Rugby does not. Two different playing styles with the biggest similarity of beating the crap out of eachother. That's really the only noticeable one.

Wussy Armor huh? Give it a try sometime and tell me which you think is more challenging.

There's a reason most of the boys on our football teams are pretty big, that stuff ain't exactly light.

Get hit by a guy that's 6' 5" 265 lbs, wearing about 75-80 lbs of protective plastic barreling down a field at you. Then you can tell me it's wussy. The armor doesn't absorb as much of the impact as you may think.

Tbh i would rather get hit by a lineman than a linebacker. Hurts less. Physics are a wonderful thing if you know how to use them to your advantage. Heavy/strong and slow vs Fast/strong and solid mass makes a difference. I actually play football so i have actual knowledge compared to the fan watchers.

Same here but I played in High School. Some of the guys I played with for the Prattville Lions (once Top National Ranked HS Football team) also played in the 2010 and 2011 Iron Bowl for both Auburn and Alabama.

Just a little more on the Prattville Lions:
We've produced 142 college recruits, 3 NFL picks (2 of which were first draft). About 56% of our guys we're recruited by either Auburn or Alabama.
