Temporary rig.

Hello everyone, i am new to these forums, and i am planning a build for next year sometime. My old rig was retired earloy this year after about 8 years of service (yes, you read that right, 8 years ^_^). I purchased a laptop as a replacement, but i got tired of that, fast, as most of it's first few months of service was spent in the shop. So, i got some money together, and picked up an Asus G75 laptop. I then came to the conclusion that i needed a stationary rig again, so iv'e started saving up for a new main rig. More on that later. In the meantime i got an offer for one of the laptops, a trade for a last generation mid-range rig, and i accepted, so here we are. :-) I still plan on building my own rig, when i get together the money, but for now, i'll make do with this one.

Cooler Master Storm Stryker case.
Asus P8H67 mainboard.
Intel I5 2500K cpu @stock speed (i'm not an overclocker, as i see longievity as more impotant)
MSI GTX 560ti Twin Frozer II "oc edition" graphics card.
Silverstone Strider plus 750 watt 80plus silver modular psu.
8 gigs of Kingston hyperx ddr3 1600mhz ram (although i think this chipset only supports up to 1333mhz?)
Corsair Force 120gb SSD.
Seagate 1tb storage drive.
WD green 2tv storage drive.
Corsair H80 cpu cooler.

Now remember, i did not choose these components, and i will most definetly be making some changes/upgrades. First of all, i will change the mainboard, as this one has some issues with my wireless mouse & keyboard, it kinda stutters or lags, wich is really annoying, it seems to be a common problem, but i can't seem to find any good solution searching the web. I'll probably also add another 8 gigs of ram, since theyre so cheap, hehe.

Anyway, here are some photos for those who may be interested. I was thinking about putting up some photos of my retired 8 year old rig, but would anyone even care? :-)

When i got the pc there was no cable management at all, everything was just thrown in, as it was done in the early days, lol. I took the whole thing apart, gave it a good clean (was needed badly), and tidied it up a bit, not my best, but it works. :-)

Any suggestions, comments, an constructive critique are welcome, sorry if my english is not the best, i'm from denmark, so it's not my first language.
Hope you will welcome me to the forums. :-)

I did consider that tom, i am following your buildlog of orca, and i am enjoying it very much. I decided against it, i didn't want more cabling in the case cluttering the place up, i dont really push the machine, so there's no excessive amount of heat, and i live in a cool environment, så there should not be any problems.

I am considering modding the cages, so that i can have the fans in the front, and have it more open, but so that i can still put the drives in from the other side. :-)
But seeing as this is only a temporary case (i want the cosmos 2 or the 600t when i can afford to build the new rig), i am unsure if it's worth putting that much effort into it. If i did that i could not leave it at that, i would have to do some sleeving and some other improvements too, and it'll end up being a lot for a temporary build, hehe.

I need to turn the roof fan around to create some positive preasure though.
