Surprising Performance

So with crysis 2 just coming out, i had to buy it. Whats suprised me the most is, not the poor console port or the issues with online. But how well my system can run it. Some of you may know that i dont exactly have a top spec system. In fact, i only have a AMD x2 250 3.0Ghz (standard cooling), 2GB DDR3 RAM, a GTX460 1GB, 1TB WD Blue HDD and yet i can run crysis 2 at 1920x1200 at extreme settings and get 45-50fps. Any thoughts?

It makes you wonder though, why go out and spend over £3000 on a 990x and shiz when u can get decently high performance from a £300 system

Although i do plan on replacing that CPU with an 1100T, get H70 cooling and 8GB corsair dominator RAM.

Because pc supports multiple monitors. Linus tech tips did a vid running 5400 x 1920, the bezels were ugly but on different monitors it would have looked even more stunning! Also tweaking pcs is a game in itself, aiming for the highest score, every frame is more win

you could ask 'why spend 50k modding a 106gti when you could just buy a audi s4'
