Super tight bending suggestion

Hey guys,

I am currently bending all the tubing in my new watercooled rig. I am using 16mm tubing and wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions for doing super tight bends.

I am trying to go from my RAM block to the GPU block which is a lot tighter than I expected it to be! I have got plenty of tubing though so I can have a few goes at this!

Any suggestions?

You might want to change the name of the thread there matey it just doesn't sound "right" hehe

Achieving tight bends and making them look uniform and nice isn't really going to happen. Trying to do short runs without rotaries isn't going to end neatly. I planned my loop around a 25mm radius bend and went a slightly longer but cleaner route. So i'd suggest you look what fittings can help you out or if adjusting the loop order could make things easier.

I've seen some builds where people bend the wrong way and make a long run out of short one but that looks pretty rank IMO, then again some people do pretty messy things with rigid tubing at times. Have the perseverance to make it look controlled, it can be done ;)

Haha, I didnt even realise. I must just be a master bender ;)

Yeh, I was thinking of using a 45 degree fitting to not have such a tight bend. It would only be a 90 degree bend coming out the RAM block to get to the GPU, so might give that a try. If not I will go to the other graphics card inlet as it gives me a little more room. I do much prefer bent tube than fittings and straight tubing.

I tried an ultra tight bend on the tube but could not get it to work as there is so little room to work with. However, I put a 45 degree fitting in there and it seams to be working. Even so, its 45 degree or so bend into the fitting.

I will post a picture up to show you!
