Much respect due to you guv for this, I went through similar situation many years ago, its never easy but its good to talk about it and it takes time.

PlusOne for car vids.

All I do is watch car fabrication videos and besides Bad Obsession Motorpsport (which BTW Tom if you haven't seen their stuff it's pure car engineering pr0n) the UK is lagging behind. We've got plenty of supercar channels here that are boring af. I'd like to see raw DIY vids and not huge production value videos with supercars. The more honest and down to earth the better.

Yup the croaky voiced teenage YT superstar with the Lambo doesn't cut it for me.

I watch BOM and have been watching the 2wistd vs 2sexy Mighty Car Mods vids as well.

Ed. Tavarish is OK too, unless he's waffling. Samcrac is another of my subs too. Just because he does things that annoy trolls.

Plus a billion for car vids! Those are my new drug. Those 2 kids at Goonzquad are pretty awesome to watch, as is Cleetus McFarland, FasterProms, etc. Tavarish is ok too, but he does tend to ramble more than work. But I still enjoy his videos.

The only thing I would caution is what others have already said: if car work is your solace, and helps you recharge, I'd be cautious about turning that into 'work' per se. You don't want to get burned out on the thing that helps you with burnout. Car vids or not, I'll still watch TTL every time.

Leeroy FTW! I've never had a mid-life crisis that involved cars, but that dude has me itching for a C7 Corvette.

EDIT: these car channels have almost given me hope for todays youth. Cleetus, Goonzquad, etc all seem to have serious work ethics (Cleetus / Garrett is in law school while doing all that car stuff). It seems like good parents still exist.

Project Binky is just plain awesome, and they've even started uploading more often.
That's not to say that new uploads are frequent. Skid factory on Mighty Car Mods' second channel is also great.
