Style opinions please

As you may or may not know we have recently bought a new place and the bathroom was the only room that really needed immediate attention (the rest of the house was renovated by the previous owner). Now I need some feedback off you all if I may in regard to floor tiles. After we moved in and while I was waiting for my net to be put on I tiled the shower/bath area (it's a shower over bath) and now I want to get the floor started.

The shower tiles are white 200mm x 100mm with black grout and the floor tiles that we've chosen are 200mm x 200mm graphite (they will hae black grout too). Now what I can't decide is which orientation I'm going to run the tiles for the floor and this is where you guys come in. Below are the three options available:

Diagonal with 50mm x 50mm black mosaic tile in the middle

Staggered (like the shower area)

In-line

I have included a poll which I would appreciate if you could include a vote for your favourite orientation in. If you have an alternative to the three that I have listed I would be appreciative if you could include it in this thread.

I prefer in-line. Looks neater. Easier to grout also.

I like the 3 options really, but I picked mosaic cos it probably involved clipping tiles and hence more work involved

Tbh I`d be happy with either, it`s not something I`d think too much about.

I voted in line as it will be easier to do and grout, looks neat and is slightly better for avoiding mildew

The grout I've used is mildew resistant and black so I'm onto a winner there rofl

I think he is using black grout.

I also went for inline. Whilst all 3 look fine, inline is the easiest to lay.

Whilst in-line is easier to grout and put together, the end result wouldnt look quite as...good really.

Remember, hard work comes with good results...usually. Nobody ever got rich taking the easy route.

I personally like staggerd myself. Little more difficult but i believe it would look the best becasue it would match the tiling in your shower. Im sort of a matching kinda person when it comes to homes.

What about a white mosaic instead of the black to tie it in with the wall tiles?
