Awesome awesome work!! :)
I'm planning on getting the same case except in white and going with a white and blue theme... Hope someday to do the same watercooling as you (love the way you hid the ssd and hdd)

Great to hear, you won't regret it. really a great case to work with and the quality shines through.

Wow, that gun metal bay cover looks ace, should come like that stock :p

Many thanks. I might not actually use it in the final build, I have a black one prepared also, but agree perhaps a gunmetal could replace the silver coverplate they offer now as silver is getting a bit old now.

Awesome G-Dubs!!! Fantastic Work

Cheers matey

Love the gun metal colour, nice work once again :)

Thank you.

Well, been working really hard to get things finished and ready for you guys after having to drain down and take apart to re do the GPU waterblock. Also working on a GPU backplate, but that may have to wait till later as keen to show you guys the finished build.

Then it'll be time to clock the twangers off it :)

The weekend beckons and all being well we should be able to get the rest sorted and some pictures up for you guys.

Wow, it looks absolutely amazing. Love the attention to detail with both the motherboard and GPU block. And you can't forget the awesome cable management (front and back). The cable management at the back would put many a rig to shame :)

Absolutly amazing looking build. I think I am really starting to lean towards using this case for my next project.

How about a drag my Raider Vs your Phantom sounds like a couple of muscle cars lol :p, but honestly this was a great build and I love the way it's got great setup inside and still remains stock on the outside pays tribute to the original NZXT lines while not being a slouch under the hood just like a custom classic car.

Many thanks. The more you look at the project, the more little things you should see. A lot of it is very subtle. As for the braiding, well having the cable extensions in there meant there was much more to manage than normal. it's a testament to the rear side of the mobo on the Phantom, and in particular the 27 cable tie mounts that I wa able to get it as good as I have.

This build has been awesome to follow, and the results are amazing!
Thanks TTL and G-Dubs for posting this log :D

It's our pleasure.

You won't be disappointed if you do. Wit it being available in so many colour combo's here's something for everyone.

Or maybe the next Marvel comic film??? raider vs Phantom...Dah Dah Daaaaah

WOW !!! you really make want to sell my car and build a pc like this !!! :P AMAZING job dude !! looks really awesome !!! :D

Shouldn't need to sell the car mate. All the components used here are quite affordable mid range bits of kit.

Thanks for all the comments, over the next few days i'll be posting up the final images as well as some of the highlights of the build along the way.

Again thanks for looking, and remember to keep an eye out for the full system review and benching in the near future.

Beautiful work G-DUBS. The work you did on the side panel window is brilliant and your cable management is to die for. This is by far my favorite build to date.

Your work is exceptional Gary!! Really really happy with how yours turned out, I am just a little anxious to see if my one will be as epic as yours!!

Marvelous! Really good job on the cable management in the back, even with an SSD + HDD back there o.0 ?!
Last pic looks EPIC by the way :D I wouldn't be surprised if it gets to be the background of many pc out there ;-)

It looks stunning :O what happened to your back-plate though? and i spy a perfect place for an OC3D fan badge on the last picture :p

Nice work bud,
i see what you meant about the blue still comming through on the PCI lanes, the pic above the bottom one you can just see a very slght tinge of blue, doesnt take away from the brilliance or effort though, not everyone would have the metaphorical balls to paint it
