Damn that is a sexy board.

Yeah I'm really liking the MSI video cards and motherboards recently. That mpower board looks great and so does the twin frozer 4 card with the yellow accent that is shown with it. I also like the one with the blue accent that you can get now and the motherboards with the blue. I don't see the mpower boards in stores yet or even on the Msi site yet though.

I also really like that Msi uses black pcbs for their video cards. Im not too keen on the look of the power conditioner thing, but i do like the black plate they use on the top of those cards.

Amazing cable management in the rear panel. I always love when A system is totally next all over like that. I used the NZXT white sleeved led kit in my 650d and I like it a lot. I love being able to keep it turned off alot of the time.

It's beautiful!

Hey there! First of all, lovely mod! Came in here by searching for painting of motherboard.

I love your mod, but cant seem to find what paint you have used.

Lookin to do a similar thing for a build i'm doing :)

Thanks in advance!

Very clean Dubs,I like it.

Maybe black instead of the silver for fittings...silver does add some depth to it tho.

Well executed.

I gave serious consideration to Matt Black fittings and in fact actually got some in to try but they just weren't right. I agree with you that where the silver makes it's mark is by lifting the detail. The Bitspower fittings bought from those great chaps at Speckletech really are the dogs danglies. I'm seriously ruined for going back to others now.

Thanks :)

Very much appreciated!

My pleasure. Be aware you need a very steady hand. It's worth spending a good 10-15 years of your childhood making and painting airfix models to prepare the skills :)

Seroisly though, if you fancy trying your hand take it very easy and appreciate you're going to need quite a few very thin coats to build up the layers or it will all look rather gloopy. Be very careful not to get paint on any of the contact points or any moving parts (such as the PCI clamps

Are you still using this system as your daily driver? How are you liking it so far?

Also, have you had any trouble with your NZXT led kit? mine flickers quite a lot and I have heard other people report the same issue.

Thats not bad, not bad at all actually!

Now im goin to read reviews all night ^_^

Yeah I like it a lot. When I move to z77 it's going to be a toss up between that board and the z77 sabertooth from asus and maybe something like the MSI GD65.

Also, if you're on X79 there is the msi Xpower http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Big-Bang-XPower-II.html

Personally I've never been big on any time of gun stuff on computer hardware, but it is an all black board.

Seems like you have to have a long sli connector when you watercool (want hardware connector) :(

So i think im going to paint my current motherboard!

And wait for a all black S2011 motherboard, when Ivy-E comes out next year.
