Yeah, still got it. It fits a whole number of sockets including 775.
I will find out how much the postage is tomorrow for you.

Bit of a long shot but does anyone have any spare motherboard stand offs? I need, maybe, 16? I've basically got a Core2Duo laptop that was dead, I've pulled it apart and removed and repaired the mobo but I need to mount it in an old case to keep it safe, and alas, I have lost my bag of stand offs.

I havn't forgotten. The post office in my perants village is closed at the moment for some reason so I havn't been able to check what the postage will be.
I will be driving upto Manchester tomorrow or over the weekend so iof the post office doesn't open before then I will get it checked out when I'm up there.

I have a second XW6400 motherboard on the way. If it works with the quads I will have my current motherboard spare which works fine with two dual core processors.
I'm wanting to know if there is any intrest from any one on here for a XW6400 motherboard fitted with two 5130 cpus (basicly two C2D @ 2ghz with 4mb cache).
The board has two 16x PCI E slots, one is 16x wired and one is 4x wired.
You will have to find RAM but there is plenty of 5300FB RAM on ebay for not too much.
The other thing you will need is heatsinks. Something can probably be made to work but the proper heatsinks get screwd into the side pannel on the case. So this may cause issue for some.
If there is no intrest here then I will put it on ebay. But with the two PCI E slots and the ability to be upgraded to two 5160 CPUs it could be the backbone of a good little folding rig. So I would like it to goto someone on here.
Only money I would reqire is the cost of postage.
