You've linked me 3 headsets, and somehow that's proof?
I'm so confused.......
Headsets are specifically designed for either use for VOIP or gaming. Therefore in any music scenario they suck. To me, there's not really much point whatsoever in spending that kind of money if you're using it for gaming or VOIP.
In your case of the Beyerdynamics that you linked, and someone claim that's proof of how I'm wrong(?)
They're the casing of the DT770s, with worse drivers, and a mic attached, and yet they cost almost 3 times as much as the better DT770s.
If you're spending that kind of money on a headset - something is seriously wrong in your life.
All headsets do, whether designed for VOIP or Gaming, is artificially adjust the voice channels and/or the bass - which to gamers who care enough to be buying something that expensive, should know that it just makes sounds unrealistic.
In music - ANY headphones win by a mile.
In gaming - ANY headphones and a decent soundcard win
In VOIP - Granted a headset is probably better - but who cares?
