Software for making a slideshow

Hey everyone
I'm working on a project and need to make a 10-minute slideshow presentation with alot of pictures, video, and music. I want find a good program that does a good job at making a slideshow presentation. I want to be able to have creative transitions and things like that. Not sure if Windows Movie Maker will suffice, but if someone has something else to suggest, i would appreciate it and will check it out.

well then i'd suggest sony vegas movie studio. quite similar to vegas pro but way cheaper.

A buddy of mine recommended that too. I may go that route. I'm open to other options too if anyone else has ideas.
