-Project Blue Lion-

Hello everybody! Since I'm new to the website, I thought I'd start off by making a thread for my case modding project. I've named it 'Blue Lion' as it is based on a blue theme.

List of things I have done:
- Paint the front panel mesh black
- Paint the front panel frame blue
- Changed the front intake fan to a Enermax TB Vegas Duo
- Painted the HDD and activity blinker to black
- Painted the bolts that hold the acrylic panel, to blue
- Painted the back of the acrylic panel to black, to give it a full tint.
- Painted the PCI brackets to blue.

So yeh, this time it was all about painting.
I have also go the HUB for the NZXT HUE, but it's not functional, it's just there for the looks, it's also got a blue LED on it so it matches with the theme. (It works but you cant see shit from the fully tinted acrylic panel :P )
I need to sand down some parts of the front panel, as the can I used to paint it with, sprays really fast and heavily, and I had some overspray. Other than that, everything is fine. Hope you like it! If you have any suggestions, post them below! Case is a Sharkoon T9, I can assure you it looks better in person :P

Thanks for the feedback boys. This case is so mod friendly, so much potential for extra fan mods, I might actually water cool it with black compression fittings and UV blue tubing, or vise versa!

I was actually going to use this case for a friend's build, but got put off by the fact there's no top fan mounts, and I didn't want to cut my friend's case in case It didn't go too well ;)

(LOL ''Case in case'' xD)

I like what you did on it, and not to be a party pooper but...

You do know that this case comes in blue as well? :p

@Feronix, when I ordered this case they were out of stock on the blue version :)
Also, I thought it might be fun to paint it and mod it to a blue theme myself :P
Specs aren't very special haha
AMD Phenom II X6 1035T
12GB of Kingston DDR3
MSI 7750 2gb
Asus M5A97
Silverstone strider 500W
500GB Caviar Black
120GB Corsair GT
Cooled with a Enermax ETS-T40-TB
Quite low end, but I was on a budget and had other priorities.
Ironically, the cheeper paints work better on plastic and metal material on this case.
Thanks for the comments :D

Im sure you'll do well, 120mm hole saws are quite expensive though. (or any higher mm)
